The Darwin Economy: Liberty, Competition, and the Common Good was published by Princeton University Press on September 21, 2011, as the lead title on its fall list. A very carefully crafted 9-minute video feature about the book by economics correspondent Paul Solman appeared on the PBS NewsHour, and arguments in the book inspired this USA Today op-ed co-written with conservative satirist . O'Rourke. An essay excerpted from the book was published in the Sunday Business section of the New York Times ( "Darwin, The Market Whiz" ), and another except was published in the Cornell Alumni Magazine ( "Starve the Beast" ). The book's first chapter is posted on Princeton’s website here . Links to my NPR interview with Diane Rehm , my conversation with Joe Scarborough on MSNBC's Morning Joe, my Zocalo lecture about the book in Los Angeles, and more are posted on the book’s Facebook page here .
